So they took Yeshua's body, and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as the custom of the Judeans is to bury.

Yosef commanded his servants, the physicians, to embalm his father; and the physicians embalmed Yisra'el.

They buried him in his own tombs, which he had hewn out for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odors and various kinds [of spices] prepared by the perfumers' art: and they made a very great burning for him.

For in pouring this ointment on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.

She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burying.

But Kefa got up and ran to the tomb. Stooping and looking in, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he departed to his home, wondering what had happened.

He who was dead came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Yeshua said to them, *Free him, and let him go.*

But Yeshua said, *Leave her alone. She has kept this for the day of my burial.

The young men arose and wrapped him up, and they carried him out and buried him.
