Now Shim`on Kefa was standing and warming himself. They said therefore to him, *You aren't also one of his talmidim, are you?* He denied it, and said, *I am not.*
Then Sarah denied, saying, *I didn't laugh,* for she was afraid. He said, *No, but you did laugh.*
The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the LORD is kept safe.

As Kefa was in the courtyard below, one of the maids of the Kohen Gadol came,
When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard, and had sat down together, Kefa sat among them.
A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, *This man also was with him.*
He denied Yeshua, saying, *Woman, I don't know him.*
