Don't be afraid, you animals of the field; for the pastures of the wilderness spring up, for the tree bears its fruit. The fig tree and the vine yield their strength.

From now on, when you till the ground, it won't yield its strength to you. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth.*

Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are like a great deep. LORD, you preserve man and animal.

The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.

The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.

The earth has yielded its increase. God, even our own God, will bless us.

For the LORD has comforted Tziyon; he has comforted all her waste places, and has made her wilderness like `Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.

They shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of `Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.

But you, mountains of Yisra'el, you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Yisra'el; for they are at hand to come.

Shouldn't I be concerned for Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred twenty thousand persons who can't discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much livestock?*

Through all that time, when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty, there were only twenty.

*For the seed of shalom and the vine will yield its fruit, and the ground will give its increase, and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.

So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
