The king said, What have I to do with you, you sons of Tzeru'yah? Because he curses, and because the LORD has said to him, Curse David; who then shall say, Why have you done so?

Woe to him who strives with his Maker--a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay ask him who fashions it, *What are you making?* or your work, *He has no hands?*

House of Yisra'el, can't I do with you as this potter? says the LORD. Behold, as the clay in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, house of Yisra'el.

and you shall be driven from men; and they dwelling shall be with the animals of the field; you shall be made to eat grass as oxen; and seven times shall pass over you; until you know that the Elyon rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whoever he will.

Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in your sight.

Isn't it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?'

*For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?*

in whom also we were assigned an inheritance, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his will;
