They cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language to the people of Yerushalayim who were on the wall, to frighten them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.

Who doesn't respect the persons of princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor; for they all are the work of his hands.

You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; neither shall you testify in court to side with a multitude to pervert justice;

He said to them, *Thus says the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, 'Every man put his sword on his thigh, and go back and forth from gate to gate throughout the camp, and every man kill his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.'*

The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the LORD is kept safe.

So Tzidkiyahu the king swore secretly to Yirmeyahu, saying, As the LORD lives, who made us this soul, I will not put you to death, neither will I give you into the hand of these men who seek your life.

Tzidkiyahu the king said to Yirmeyahu, I am afraid of the Jews who are fallen away to the Kasdim, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.

Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe; and the powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.

Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Messiah after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
