Although you know that I am not wicked, there is no one who can deliver out of your hand.

But the eyes of the wicked shall fail. They shall have no way to flee. Their hope shall be the giving up of the spirit.*

He shall flee from the iron weapon. The bronze arrow shall strike him through.

On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.

For this time I will send all my plagues against your heart, against your officials, and against your people; that you may know that there is none like me in all the earth.

What will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? Where will you leave your wealth?

I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, says the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have compassion, that I should not destroy them.

I, the LORD, have spoken it: it shall happen, and I will do it: I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to your ways, and according to your doings, shall they judge you, says the Lord GOD.

Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all your abominations, therefore will I also diminish [you]; neither shall my eye spare, and I also will have no pity.

Flight will perish from the swift; and the strong won't strengthen his force; neither shall the mighty deliver himself;

Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said to him, *What is this that you have done?* For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.

He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?

The LORD will not pardon him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and all the curse that is written in this book shall lie on him, and the LORD will blot out his name from under the sky.

I will heap evils on them. I will spend my arrows on them.

It happened, as they fled from before Yisra'el, while they were at the descent of Beit-Choron, that the LORD cast down great stones from the sky on them to `Azeka, and they died: they were more who died with the hailstones than they whom the children of Yisra'el killed with the sword.

Though men be risen up to pursue you, and to seek your soul, yet the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD your God; and the souls of your enemies, them shall he sling out, as from the hollow of a sling.
