Jeremiah 13:19Hebrew Names version (HNV)The cities of the South are shut up, and there is none to open them: Yehudah is carried away captive, all of it; it is wholly carried away captive. See the chapter |
They shall come from the cities of Yehudah, and from the places round about Yerushalayim, and from the land of Binyamin, and from the lowland, and from the hill country, and from the South, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meal offerings, and frankincense, and bringing [sacrifices of] thanksgiving, to the house of the LORD.
For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself, and to all your friends; and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes shall see it; and I will give all Yehudah into the hand of the king of Bavel, and he shall carry them captive to Bavel, and shall kill them with the sword.
The LORD shown me, and behold, two baskets of figs set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nevukhadnetzar 1 king of Bavel had carried away captive Yekhonyah the son of Yehoiakim, king of Yehudah, and the princes of Yehudah, with the craftsmen and smiths, from Yerushalayim, and had brought them to Bavel.
Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe the deeds, and seal them, and call witnesses, in the land of Binyamin, and in the places about Yerushalayim, and in the cities of Yehudah, and in the cities of the hill country, and in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South: for I will cause their captivity to return, says the LORD.
