For the LORD has chosen Ya`akov for himself; Yisra'el for his own possession.

Why should you be like a scared man, as a mighty man who can't save? yet you, LORD, are in the midst of us, and we are called by your name; don't leave us.

My God, turn your ear, and hear; open your eyes, and see our desolations, and the city which is called by your name: for we do not present our petitions before you for our righteousness, but for your great mercies' sake.

Lord, hear; Lord, forgive; Lord, listen and do; don't defer, for your own sake, my God, because your city and your people are called by your name.

that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations who are called by my name,* says the LORD who does this.

who in the generations gone by allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways.

That the rest of men may seek after the Lord; All the Gentiles who are called by my name, Says the Lord, who does all these things.

All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of you.

LORD, when you went forth out of Se`ir, when you marched out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the sky also dropped. Yes, the clouds dropped water.

The mountains quaked at the presence of the LORD, even Sinai, at the presence of the LORD, the God of Yisra'el.
