In that day I will make a covenant for them with the animals of the field, and with the birds of the sky, and with the creeping things of the ground. I will break the bow, the sword, and the battle out of the land, and will make them lie down safely.

*'I will give shalom in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one will make you afraid; and I will remove evil animals out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, *Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,*

who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers,
