It happened, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden ring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold,
It happened, when he saw the ring, and the bracelets on his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rivka his sister, saying, *This is what the man said to me,* that he came to the man. Behold, he was standing by the camels at the spring.
The servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing, and gave them to Rivka. He also gave precious things to her brother and her mother.
They gave to Ya`akov all the foreign gods which were in their hands, and the rings which were in their ears; and Ya`akov hid them under the oak which was by Shekhem.
He said, *What pledge will I give you?* She said, *Your signet and your cord, and your staff that is in your hand.* He gave them to her, and came in to her, and she conceived by him.
When she was brought forth, she sent to her father-in-law, saying, *By the man, whose these are, I am with child.* She also said, *Please discern whose are these--the signet, and the cords, and the staff.*
They came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, and brought brooches, earrings, signet rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold; even every man who offered an offering of gold to the LORD.
We have brought the LORD's offering, what every man has gotten, of jewels of gold, armlets, and bracelets, signet rings, earrings, and necklaces, to make atonement for our souls before the LORD.
