Bread flour must be ground; so he will not always be threshing it. Although he drives the wheel of his threshing cart over it, his horses don't grind it.

You are my threshing, and the grain of my floor!* That which I have heard from the LORD of Armies, the God of Yisra'el, I have declared to you.

For the dill are not threshed with a sharp instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned over the cumin; but the dill is beaten out with a stick, and the cumin with a rod.

This also comes forth from the LORD of Armies, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.

LORD, correct me, but in measure: not in your anger, lest you bring me to nothing.

*For, behold, I will command, and I will sift the house of Yisra'el among all the nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet not the least kernel will fall on the earth.

His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor. He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.*

Most certainly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.

For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's farming, God's building.
