It will happen in that day, that the LORD will thresh from the flowing stream of the Perat to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, children of Yisra'el.
If there are yet a tenth in it, it also shall in turn be eaten up: as a terebinth, and as an oak, whose stock remains, when they are felled; so the holy seed is its stock.*
Those who escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Yehudah, few in number; and all the remnant of Yehudah, who have gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose word shall stand, mine, or theirs.
I will surely assemble, Ya`akov, all of you; I will surely gather the remnant of Yisra'el; I will put them together as the sheep of Botzrah, as a flock in the midst of their pasture; they will swarm with people.
Misery is mine! Indeed, I am like one who gathers the summer fruits, as gleanings of the vineyard: There is no cluster of grapes to eat. My soul desires to eat the early fig.
