So the field of `Efron, which was in Makhpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, the cave which was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all of its borders, were deeded
that he may give me the cave of Makhpelah, which he has, which is in the end of his field. For the full price let him give it to me among you for a possession of a burying-place.*
All these are the twelve tribes of Yisra'el, and this is what their father spoke to them and blessed them. He blessed everyone according to his blessing.
for his sons carried him into the land of Kena`an, and buried him in the cave of the field of Makhpelah, which Avraham bought with the field, for a possession of a burial site, from `Efron the Chittite, before Mamre.
