`Ever lived thirty-four years, and became the father of Peleg.

To Shem, the father of all the children of `Ever, the elder brother of Yefet, to him also were children born.

To `Ever were born two sons. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided. His brother's name was Yoktan.

and Shelach lived four hundred three years after he became the father of `Ever, and became the father of sons and daughters.

`Ever lived four hundred thirty years after he became the father of Peleg, and became the father of sons and daughters.

To `Ever were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Yoktan.
