To Shem, the father of all the children of `Ever, the elder brother of Yefet, to him also were children born.

These are the sons of Cham, after their families, after their languages, in their lands, in their nations.

The sons of Shem: `Elam, Ashur, Arpakhshad, Lud, and Aram.

Noach was five hundred years old, and Noach became the father of Shem, Cham, and Yefet.

The sons of Shem: `Elam, and Ashur, and Arpakhshad, and Lud, and Aram, and `Utz, and Chul, and Geter, and Meshekh.

Nevertheless Kayin shall be wasted, until Ashur carries you away captive.

But ships [shall come] from the coast of Kittim. They shall afflict Ashur, and shall afflict `Ever. He also shall come to destruction.
