The LORD said to him, *Therefore whoever slays Kayin, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.* the LORD appointed a sign for Kayin, lest any finding him should strike him.

in that you provoke me to anger with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you are gone to sojourn; that you may be cut off, and that you may be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

Therefore I am full of the wrath of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: pour it out on the children in the street, and on the assembly of young men together; for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him who is full of days.

For death is come up into our windows, it is entered into our palaces; to cut off the children from outside, [and] the young men from the streets.

Moreover the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me to the east gate of the LORD's house, which looks eastward: and see, at the door of the gate twenty-five men; and I saw in the midst of them Ya`azanyah the son of Azur, and Pelatyah the son of Benayah, princes of the people.

The LORD said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Yerushalayim, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in the midst of it.

To the others he said in my hearing, Go you through the city after him, and strike: don't let your eye spare, neither have you pity;

*You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth. Therefore I will punish you for all of your sins.*

That servant, who knew his lord's will, and didn't prepare, nor do what he wanted, will be beaten with many stripes,

We took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones; we left none remaining:

We utterly destroyed them, as we did to Sichon king of Cheshbon, utterly destroying every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones.

I will heap evils on them. I will spend my arrows on them.

However God's firm foundation stands, having this seal, *The Lord knows those who are his,* and, *Let every one who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.*

These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Yeshua from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

saying, *Don't harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!*

They were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those people who don't have God's seal on their foreheads.

Now go and strike `Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and don't spare them; but kill both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.
