and the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Yisra'el, three gates northward: the gate of Re'uven, one; the gate of Yehudah, one; the gate of Levi, one.
It happened, while Yisra'el lived in that land, that Re'uven went and lay with Bilhah, his father's concubine, and Yisra'el heard of it. Now the sons of Ya`akov were twelve.
Your gates also shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, and their kings led captive.
