The LORD said to Moshe, *Go in to Par`oh, for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I may show these my signs in the midst of them,
Go to Par`oh in the morning. Behold, he goes out to the water; and you shall stand by the river's bank to meet him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand.
Par`oh sent, and, behold, there was not so much as one of the livestock of the Yisra'eli's dead. But the heart of Par`oh was stubborn, and he didn't let the people go.
Yes, they made their hearts as hard as flint, lest they might hear the law, and the words which the LORD of Armies had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from the LORD of Armies.
But Sichon king of Cheshbon would not let us pass by him; for the LORD your God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as at this day.
See that you don't refuse him who speaks. For if they didn't escape when they refused him who warned on the Earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,
Why then do you harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Par`oh hardened their hearts? When he had worked wonderfully among them, didn't they let the people go, and they departed?
