The LORD said to Moshe, *Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Yehoshua: that I will utterly blot out the memory of `Amalek from under the sky.*
Moshe wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Yisra'el.
He said, *Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been worked in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among which you are shall see the work of the LORD; for it is an awesome thing that I do with you.
Moshe wrote this law, and delivered it to the Kohanim the sons of Levi, who bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and to all the elders of Yisra'el.
