Moshe and Aharon did all these wonders before Par`oh, and the LORD hardened Par`oh's heart, and he didn't let the children of Yisra'el go out of his land.
and it happened, when Par`oh would hardly let us go, that the LORD killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of animal. Therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that opens the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.'
The LORD said to Moshe, *When you go back into Egypt, see that you do before Par`oh all the wonders which I have put in your hand, but I will harden his heart and he will not let the people go.
The LORD said to Moshe, *Now you shall see what I will do to Par`oh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.*
Par`oh sent, and, behold, there was not so much as one of the livestock of the Yisra'eli's dead. But the heart of Par`oh was stubborn, and he didn't let the people go.
