Seven days shall the son who is Kohen in his place put them on, when he comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.

*'Seven days shall you eat matzah; even the first day you shall put away yeast out of your houses, for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Yisra'el.

The Kohen shall examine him on the seventh day, and, behold, if in his eyes the plague is arrested, and the plague hasn't spread in the skin, then the Kohen shall isolate him for seven more days.

The Kohen, who is anointed and who is consecrated to be Kohen in his father's place, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen garments, even the holy garments.

It happened on the eighth day, that Moshe called Aharon and his sons, and the elders of Yisra'el;

So Aharon drew near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

Moshe stripped Aharon of his garments, and put them on El`azar his son; and Aharon died there on the top of the mountain: and Moshe and El`azar came down from the mountain.

For such a Kohen Gadol was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
