Now Moshe was keeping the flock of Yitro, his father-in-law, the Kohen of Midyan, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God's mountain, to Chorev.
Moshe went and returned to Yitro his father-in-law, and said to him, *Please let me go and return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive.* Yitro said to Moshe, *Go in peace.*
Moshe said to Chovav, the son of Re`u'el the Midyanite, Moshe' father-in-law, We are journeying to the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come you with us, and we will do you good; for the LORD has spoken good concerning Yisra'el.
Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, *I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.*
