Now when Par`oh heard this thing, he sought to kill Moshe. But Moshe fled from the face of Par`oh, and lived in the land of Midyan, and he sat down by a well.
He looked, and behold, a well in the field, and, behold, three flocks of sheep lying there by it. For out of that well they watered the flocks. The stone on the well's mouth was large.
They arose out of Midyan, and came to Paran; and they took men with them out of Paran, and they came to Egypt, to Par`oh king of Egypt, who gave him a house, and appointed him food, and gave him land.
