Then Moshe and the children of Yisra'el sang this song to the LORD, and said, *I will sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.
You divided the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their pursuers you did cast into the depths, as a stone into the mighty waters.
The LORD said to Moshe, *Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come again on the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.*
Moshe stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it. The LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
Sing to the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the islands and their inhabitants.
They sang the song of Moshe, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, *Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty! Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations.
