Thus the LORD saved Chizkiyahu and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim from the hand of Sancheriv the king of Ashur, and from the hand of all [others], and guided them on every side.
Moshe said to the people, *Don't be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see them again.
Then he remembered the days of old, Moshe [and] his people, [saying], Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? where is he who put his holy Spirit in the midst of them?
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
But I will have mercy on the house of Yehudah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, sword, battle, horses, or horsemen.*
Or has God tried to go and take him a nation from the midst of [another] nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
Now I desire to remind you, though you already know this, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who didn't believe.
The LORD said to the children of Yisra'el, Didn't I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amori, from the children of `Ammon, and from the Pelishtim?
