Moshe said, *We will go with our young and with our old; with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast to the LORD.*
Our livestock also shall go with us. There shall not a hoof be left behind, for of it we must take to serve the LORD our God; and we don't know with what we must serve the LORD, until we come there.*
They will listen to your voice, and you shall come, you and the elders of Yisra'el, to the king of Egypt, and you shall tell him, 'The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now please let us go three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD, our God.'
Afterward Moshe and Aharon came, and said to Par`oh, *This is what the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, says, 'Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.'*
They said, *The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please let us go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD, our God, lest he fall on us with pestilence, or with the sword.*
Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw near, when you will say, *I have no pleasure in them;*
On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work, and you shall keep a feast to the LORD seven days:
If it seem evil to you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amori, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
