He wrote in the name of King Achashverosh, and sealed it with the king's ring, and sent letters by courier on horseback, riding on royal horses that were bread from swift steeds.

Nevukhadnetzar 1 the king, to all the peoples, nations, and languages, who dwell in all the earth: Shalom be multiplied to you.

Now, O king, establish the interdict, and sign the writing, that it not be changed, according to the law of the Madai and Paras, which doesn't alter.
