Then Haman took the clothing and the horse, and arrayed Mordekhai, and had him ride through the city square, and proclaimed before him, *Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!*

Then Tattenai, the governor beyond the River, Shetar-Bozenai, and their companions, because that Daryavesh the king had sent, did accordingly with all diligence.

Then the king said to Haman, *Hurry and take the clothing and the horse, as you have said, and do this for Mordekhai the Jew, who sits at the king's gate. Let nothing fail of all that you have spoken.*

Mordekhai came back to the king's gate, but Haman hurried to his house, mourning and having his head covered.

Mordekhai went out of the presence of the king in royal clothing of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a robe of fine linen and purple; and the city of Susa shouted and was glad.

All the princes of the provinces, the satraps, the governors, and those who did the king's business helped the Jews, because the fear of Mordekhai had fallen on them.

The sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending to you; and all those who despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you The city of the LORD, The Tziyon of the Holy One of Yisra'el.

He has put down princes from their thrones. And has exalted the lowly.

Behold, I give of the synagogue of Hasatan, of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but lie. Behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
