Esther 3:13

Letters were sent by couriers into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to plunder their possessions.

the ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedata, the Jew's enemy, but they didn't lay their hand on the plunder.

The Jews struck all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and with slaughter and destruction, and did what they wanted to those who hated them.

*Now my days are swifter than a runner. They flee away, they see no good,

I will send him against a profane nation, and against the people who anger me will I give him a charge to take the spoil and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.

One runner will run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Bavel that his city is taken on every quarter:

*Their feet are swift to shed blood.

For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Now go and strike `Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and don't spare them; but kill both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.

Nov, the city of the Kohanim, struck he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and nursing babies, and oxen and donkeys and sheep, with the edge of the sword.
