Esther 3:12

Then the king's scribes were called in on the first month, on the thirteenth day of the month; and all that Haman commanded was written to the king's satraps, and to the governors who were over every province, and to the princes of every people, to every province according its writing, and to every people in their language. It was written in the name of King Achashverosh, and it was sealed with the king's ring.

Then these men assembled together to the king, and said to the king, Know, O king, that it is a law of the Madai and Paras, that no interdict nor statute which the king establishes may be changed.

Then king Daryavesh wrote to all the peoples, nations, and languages, who dwell in all the earth: Shalom be multiplied to you.

Now, O king, establish the interdict, and sign the writing, that it not be changed, according to the law of the Madai and Paras, which doesn't alter.
