Like him was there no king before him, who turned to the LORD with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the Torah of Moshe; neither after him arose there any like him.
The king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his mitzvot, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.
you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first mitzvah.
and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.*
He answered, *You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.*
Now, Yisra'el, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to my mitzvot which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proves you, to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
if you shall keep all this mitzvah to do it, which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shall you add three cities more for you, besides these three:
if you shall obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep his mitzvot and his statutes which are written in this scroll of the Torah; if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul.
in that I command you this day to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his mitzvot and his statutes and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that the LORD your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.
to love the LORD your God, to obey his voice, and to cleave to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days; that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya`akov, to give them.
The LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.
Only take diligent heed to do the mitzvah and the law which Moshe the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his mitzvot, and to cleave to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
