that then the LORD your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples, where the LORD your God has scattered you.
Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.*
but if you return to me, and keep my mitzvot and do them, though your outcasts were in the uttermost part of the heavens, yet will I gather them from there, and will bring them to the place that I have chosen, to cause my name to dwell there.
It will happen in that day, that the LORD will thresh from the flowing stream of the Perat to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, children of Yisra'el.
Thus says the LORD against all my evil neighbors, who touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Yisra'el to inherit: behold, I will pluck them up from off their land, and will pluck up the house of Yehudah from among them.
I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and multiply.
I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will turn again your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD; and I will bring you again to the place from where I caused you to be carried away captive.
Hear the word of the LORD, you nations, and declare it in the islands afar off; and say, He who scattered Yisra'el will gather him, and keep him, as shepherd does his flock.
Therefore say, Thus says the Lord GOD: I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you Eretz-Yisra'el.
They shall know that I am the LORD their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them to their own land; and I will leave none of them any more there;
and so all Yisra'el will be saved. Even as it is written, *There will come out of Tziyon the Deliverer, and he will turn away ungodliness from Ya`akov.
There shall cleave nothing of the devoted thing to your hand; that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show you mercy, and have compassion on you, and multiply you, as he has sworn to your fathers;
