David sent messengers to Ish-Boshet, Sha'ul's son, saying, Deliver me my wife Mikhal, whom I pledged to be married to me for one hundred foreskins of the Pelishtim.
It was so, as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, that Mikhal the daughter of Sha'ul looked out at the window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.
Now the birth of Yeshua the Messiah was like this; for after his mother, Miriam, was engaged to Yosef, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
Sha'ul said, Thus shall you tell David, The king desires no dowry except one hundred foreskins of the Pelishtim, to be avenged of the king's enemies. Now Sha'ul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Pelishtim.
and David arose and went, he and his men, and killed of the Pelishtim two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full number to the king, that he might be the king's son-in-law. Sha'ul gave him Mikhal his daughter as wife.
