Shim`on Kefa, a servant and emissary of Yeshua the Messiah, to those who have obtained a like precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Savior, Yeshua the Messiah:
In those days shall Yehudah be saved, and Yerushalayim shall dwell safely; and this is [the name] by which she shall be called: the LORD our righteousness.
Now the names of the twelve emissaries are these. The first, Shim`on, who is called Kefa; Andrew, his brother; Ya`akov Ben-Zavdai; Yochanan, his brother;
Walking by the sea of the Galil, he saw two brothers: Shim`on, who is called Kefa, and Andrew, his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
He brought him to Yeshua. Yeshua looked at him, and said, *You are Shim`on the son of Yonah. You shall be called Kefa* (which is by interpretation, Rock).
But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, *I believed, and therefore I spoke.* We also believe, and therefore also we speak;
and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Messiah, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
having been reminded of the unfeigned faith that is in you; which lived first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and, I am persuaded, in you also.
Sha'ul, a servant of God, and an emissary of Yeshua the Messiah, according to the faith of God's chosen ones, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,
Kefa, an emissary of Yeshua the Messiah, to the chosen ones who are living as foreigners in the Diaspora in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Yeshua the Messiah--
For you who believe therefore is the honor, but for those who are disobedient, *The stone which the builders rejected, has become the chief cornerstone,*
I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Messiah, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed.
by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.
Yehudah, a servant of Yeshua the Messiah, and brother of Ya`akov, to those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and kept for Yeshua the Messiah:
