2 Chronicles 6:5Hebrew Names version (HNV)Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Yisra'el to build a house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be prince over my people Yisra'el: See the chapter |
So king Rechav`am strengthened himself in Yerushalayim, and reigned: for Rechav`am was forty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Yerushalayim, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Yisra'el, to put his name there: and his mother's name was Na`amah the `Ammonite.
then it shall happen that to the place which the LORD your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there, there shall you bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the wave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which you vow to the LORD.
