Shlomo stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the assembly of Yisra'el, and spread forth his hands toward heaven;

The same day did the king make the middle of the court holy that was before the house of the LORD; for there he offered the burnt offering, and the meal offering, and the fat of the shalom offerings, because the bronze altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offering, and the meal offering, and the fat of the shalom offerings.

Three times a year did Shlomo offer burnt offerings and shalom offerings on the altar which he built to the LORD, burning incense therewith, [on the altar] that was before the LORD. So he finished the house.

Moreover the bronze altar, that Betzal'el the son of Uri, the son of Chur, had made, was there before the tent of the LORD: and Shlomo and the assembly sought to it.

When Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of `Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominations out of all the land of Yehudah and Binyamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from the hill country of Efrayim; and he renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.

Then they went in to Chizkiyahu the king within [the palace], and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels of it, and the table of show bread, with all the vessels of it.

Moreover Shlomo made the middle of the court holy that was before the house of the LORD; for there he offered the burnt offerings, and the fat of the shalom offerings, because the bronze altar which Shlomo had made was not able to receive the burnt offering, and the meal offering, and the fat.

Then Shlomo offered burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,
