Then the men of Yehudah gave a shout: and as the men of Yehudah shouted, it happened, that God struck Yarov`am and all Yisra'el before Aviyah and Yehudah.
Now Na`aman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria: he was also a mighty man of valor, [but he was] a leper.
Asa cried to the LORD his God, and said, LORD, there is none besides you to help, between the mighty and him who has no strength: help us, LORD our God; for we rely on you, and in your name are we come against this multitude. LORD, you are our God; don't let man prevail against you.
It happened, when the captains of the chariots saw Yehoshafat, that they said, It is the king of Yisra'el. Therefore they turned about to fight against him: but Yehoshafat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them [to depart] from him.
When he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and give praise in holy array, as they went out before the army, and say, Give thanks to the LORD; for his loving kindness endures forever.
When they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushers against the children of `Ammon, Mo'av, and Mount Se`ir, who had come against Yehudah; and they were struck.
The angel of the LORD went out and struck one hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the camp of the Ashur. When men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.
The LORD delivered them into the hand of Yisra'el, and they struck them, and chased them to great Tzidon, and to Misrefot-Mayim, and to the valley of Mitzpeh eastward; and they struck them, until they left them none remaining.
So the people shouted, and [the Kohanim] blew the trumpets; and it happened, when the people heard the sound of the shofar, that the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
The LORD confused Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his army, with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot, and fled away on his feet.
