When he humbled himself, the wrath of the LORD turned from him, so as not to destroy him altogether: and moreover in Yehudah there were good things [found].
All Yisra'el shall mourn for him, and bury him; for he only of Yarov`am shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, in the house of Yarov`am.
For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
If there are yet a tenth in it, it also shall in turn be eaten up: as a terebinth, and as an oak, whose stock remains, when they are felled; so the holy seed is its stock.*
