For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the chief angel, and with God's shofar. The dead in Messiah will rise first,
It happened on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud shofar; and all the people who were in the camp trembled.
All the people perceived the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the shofar, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance.
It will happen in that day that a great shofar will be blown; and those who were ready to perish in the land of Ashur, and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall come; and they will worship the LORD in the holy mountain at Yerushalayim.
The LORD thunders his voice before his army; for his forces are very great; for he is strong who obeys his command; for the day of the LORD is great and very awesome, and who can endure it?
The LORD will be seen over them; and his arrow will go flash like lightning; and the Lord GOD will blow the shofar, and will go with whirlwinds of the south.
Rejoice greatly, daughter of Tziyon! Shout, daughter of Yerushalayim! Behold, your king comes to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
Yeshua said to him, *You have said it. Nevertheless, I tell you, after this you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of the sky.*

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
But Mikha'el, the chief angel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moshe, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said, *May the Lord rebuke you!*
Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amein.
I heard the voice from heaven saying, *Write, 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'* *Yes,* says the Spirit, *that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.*
I saw, and I heard an eagle, flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, *Woe! Woe! Woe for those who dwell on the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound!*
