now then do it; for the LORD has spoken of David, saying, By the hand of my servant David I will save my people Yisra'el out of the hand of the Pelishtim, and out of the hand of all their enemies.
David said to Mikhal, [It was] before the LORD, who chose me above your father, and above all his house, to appoint me prince over the people of the LORD, over Yisra'el: therefore will I play before the LORD.
Therefore the LORD said to Shlomo, Because this is done of you, and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you, and will give it to your servant.
The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones; to the intent that the living may know that the Elyon rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whoever he will, and sets up over it the lowest of men.
and you shall be driven from men; and they dwelling shall be with the animals of the field; you shall be made to eat grass as oxen; and seven times shall pass over you; until you know that the Elyon rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whoever he will.
