In the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts of it, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.
The door for the middle side chambers was in the right side of the house: and they went up by winding stairs into the middle [story], and out of the middle into the third.
Thus all the work that king Shlomo worked in the house of the LORD was finished. Shlomo brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, [even] the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of the LORD.
Three times a year did Shlomo offer burnt offerings and shalom offerings on the altar which he built to the LORD, burning incense therewith, [on the altar] that was before the LORD. So he finished the house.
