Shlomo had twelve officers over all Yisra'el, who provided food for the king and his household: each man had to make provision for a month in the year.
according to the mitzvah of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnat-Serach in the hill country of Efrayim; and he built the city, and lived therein.
It happened in those days, when there was no king in Yisra'el, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the farther side of the hill country of Efrayim, who took to him a concubine out of Beit-Lechem-Yehudah.
