Ach'av called `Ovadyah 1, who was over the household. (Now `Ovadyah 1 feared the LORD greatly:

As `Ovadyah 1 was in the way, behold, Eliyahu met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, Is it you, my lord Eliyahu?

He said, Wherein have I sinned, that you would deliver your servant into the hand of Ach'av, to kill me?

Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor.
