When the mourning was past, David sent and took her home to his house, and she became his wife, and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.
The anger of the LORD was kindled against Moshe, and he said, *What about Aharon, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. Also, behold, he comes forth to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.
But the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and didn't listen to me; and the LORD said to me, Let it suffice you; speak no more to me of this matter.
For he will turn away your son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and he will destroy you quickly.
It grieves me that I have set up Sha'ul to be king; for he is turned back from following me, and has not performed my mitzvot. Shemu'el was angry; and he cried to the LORD all night.
