To `Ever were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Yoktan.

Arpakhshad became the father of Shelach, and Shelach became the father of `Ever.

Yoktan became the father of Almodad, and Shelef, and Chatzarmavat, and Yerach,

But ships [shall come] from the coast of Kittim. They shall afflict Ashur, and shall afflict `Ever. He also shall come to destruction.
