But what if some of them were not faithful? Does this mean that God will not be faithful?

They grow stronger as they go; they will see the God of gods on Zion.

So also will be the word that I speak— it will not fail to do what I plan for it; it will do everything I send it to do.

God is not like people, who lie; He is not a human who changes his mind. Whatever he promises, he does; He speaks, and it is done.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Out of the fullness of his grace he has blessed us all, giving us one blessing after another.

But not all have accepted the Good News. Isaiah himself said, “Lord, who believed our message?”

For God does not change his mind about whom he chooses and blesses.

I am not saying that the promise of God has failed; for not all the people of Israel are the people of God.

All of us, then, reflect the glory of the Lord with uncovered faces; and that same glory, coming from the Lord, who is the Spirit, transforms us into his likeness in an ever greater degree of glory.

Our friends, we must thank God at all times for you. It is right for us to do so, because your faith is growing so much and the love each of you has for the others is becoming greater.

If we are not faithful, he remains faithful, because he cannot be false to himself.”

For we have heard the Good News, just as they did. They heard the message, but it did them no good, because when they heard it, they did not accept it with faith.

Israel's majestic God does not lie or change his mind. He is not a human being—he does not change his mind.”
