Instead, he told them as he left, “If it is the will of God, I will come back to you.” And so he sailed from Ephesus.

Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart.

We wanted to return to you. I myself tried to go back more than once, but Satan would not let us.

At the same time, get a room ready for me, because I hope that God will answer the prayers of all of you and give me back to you.

And I beg you even more earnestly to pray that God will send me back to you soon.

What you should say is this: “If the Lord is willing, we will live and do this or that.”
