You have taught me ever since I was young, and I still tell of your wonderful acts.

David answered them, “I take a vow by the living Lord, who has saved me from all dangers!

I have not neglected your instructions, because you yourself are my teacher.

How can young people keep their lives pure? By obeying your commands.

I sing a hymn of thanksgiving and tell of all your wonderful deeds.

Come and listen, all who honor God, and I will tell you what he has done for me.

Sovereign Lord, I put my hope in you; I have trusted in you since I was young.

But as for me, how wonderful to be near God, to find protection with the Sovereign Lord and to proclaim all that he has done!

“I have taught you all the laws, as the Lord my God told me to do. Obey them in the land that you are about to invade and occupy.
