Good News Translation

God rises up and scatters his enemies. Those who hate him run away in defeat.

Rise up now, Lord God, and with the Covenant Box, the symbol of your power, enter the Temple and stay here forever. Bless your priests in all they do, and may all your people be happy because of your goodness to them.

The king will capture all his enemies; he will capture everyone who hates him.

Come to our aid! Because of your constant love save us!

Whenever the Covenant Box started out, Moses would say, “Arise, Lord; scatter your enemies and put to flight those who hate you!”

but he will not hesitate to punish those who hate him.
