Psalm 50:9

Good News Translation

And yet I do not need bulls from your farms or goats from your flocks;

and so I answered, “Here I am; your instructions for me are in the book of the Law.

This will please the Lord more than offering him cattle, more than sacrificing a full-grown bull.

Nor does he need anything that we can supply by working for him, since it is he himself who gives life and breath and everything else to everyone.
